Differentiating Through Social Media Is The Key To Build Better Finance Brand Recall

Finance marketing and brand building is not same as others. You will need to build a better and stronger brand recall than your competitors which by itself it not an easy task. This is because all finance brands are trying to do the same by making changes in their marketing strategies. 

The use of social medial is on the rise regarding this matter because most people are hooked on to it. They are constantly on the lookout for better news and information on financial products and services on different social media channels. 

Typically, it is found that people are more likely to remember a specific social media platform through which they got useful information as compared to any other traditional yet specific media channel that distributed the same story.

Different studies on this have proved this fact. According to the July study reports published by the ReutersInstitute for the Study of Journalism it is known that:

  • It is only about 47% of people on the social media can accurately identify any news organization that publish their on social media
  • On the other hand, it is about 67% of people who can recall hem reading stories from social media and 
  • Out of this 67 %, it is only 70% of people who can actually trace any news or a story back in their Facebook feed as compared to the 60% people who can do the same on Twitter.

This shows that it is the news or the stories that are published by the brands that help them to differentiate from the others in a similar field publishing the same content.

Given the fact that numerous people ingest tons of content all throughout the day on these social media platforms, it is really difficult and somewhat unreasonable to expect that they will be successfully able to associate always with the specific brand that published specific news or a story. You will more often than not find people admit that they have read about the great news but can hardly remember whether it is on National debt Relief or any other specific channel they read it on.

Add value and serve needs

In this modern world, financial brands in particular need to realize that people are now not looking for those boring daily lists and how-to guides. Therefore, it is required to focus on a few specific aspects for better social media marketing with proven results. 

  • Since people are looking for more value offered to them and better products that will cater to their needs, no matter how diverse it may be, it is required to provide them with exactly that. 
  • The finance brands needs to know about the niche market and target more specific audience that have a high chance of converting into prospective customers.
  • Focus should be over and beyond building superb brand stories but make the finance brands look and act like publishers.
  • To make sure that the battle is won completely, it is important to focus on growing brand recognition as well.
  • In addition to the focus on best content selection, the brands must also take care of the look and appeal of the page by making the right choice of fonts, colors, styles and images.
  • It is also important to includeprofiles of a few well-known people and influencers to build a greater fan following by tellingabout their struggles with money.

Add to all these things, it is also required to make the site visually more appealing. Therefore, besides the inclusion of a “how to” section you should also focus on other important aspects such as financial and data etiquette. This should be true and best to the best of your knowledge and input after making through research. 

  • This will make it more humanly, personal, visually appealing and not as boring as a site that has only stock photos.
  • It will easily emulate the feel and look just like a coffee table magazine that has more quality photos and no stock photos and may be full of hand-drawn illustrations. 
  • This is the most effective and proven technique to entice the readers to associate them with the look as well as with the brand.

Remember, as far as web traffic is considered, no one comes through the front door. Everybody comes to content sideways. Therefore, have an in-house team that will develop your site and content and also make sure that you team up with an illustrator for a bigger, better and more effective brand recall.

In order to create a distinctive brandexperience, you must think beyond the traditional approaches but at the same time make sure that you stay true to your brand, its value, its ethics, meaning, color and sense. You can do this in different ways such as:

  • Making it break through imagery
  • Adding smart visuals and 
  • Present things in the simplest and most upfront way.

Your primary objective should be to be more creative instead of focusing solely on the lead generation, though that is the bottom line. This is how you can achieve this.

  • When you offer some degree of independence to the consumers then they will surely and automatically start to like your brand and also help in creating a better awareness and recognition.
  • In addition to that you should focus on separateness from others to make sure that you get the kind of return on investment you are expecting from your marketing campaign and just like a good magazine does, creategoodwill for your readers.
  • Also make sure that you add a human touch to take the unconventional route and prevent from being drowned in the sea of contents.

If you can establish a human connectionthroughthe social media channels with your customers, it will enhance the feel and build trust of your customers on your brand. More often than not they may even be willing to become your brand ambassadors. This is what the social aspect is all about. It will help you to create a better brand voice and differentiation.
